CHARACTERS

HENRY CROWLEY - Mid-fifties Senior Partner of a prominent Sydney law firm. Ultra conservative, opinionated and with an air of superiority, he has a strained relationship with his wife to whom he shows little affection. He just wants to be left in peace and looks forward immensely to some “me time”.

MARGARET CROWLEY - She constantly turns to alcohol to relieve the boredom of being married to Henry. Her caring and affectionate nature is being sorely tested by her frustrations with her husband. Despite her never-ending efforts to recapture the lost romance of their relationship, she never tires of pointing out his failings.

CHERYL - The bubbly young woman from Cessnock who is on a mission and only Henry can provide what she truly needs. Bright and intelligent, she is adaptable to any situation. Her broad Aussie regional accent belies the inner workings of a somewhat devious mind.

SYNOPSIS

Henry and Margaret Crowley have endured a childless marriage in peaceful but sophisticated St Ives for over 25 years. Henry, an outspoken and pompous lawyer has seemingly been too busy overseeing a prominent Sydney law firm as senior partner to worry about romance. This has caused Margaret to turn to a stiff drink or two to deal with her frustrations.

But when Cheryl, a young law graduate from the small regional town of Cessnock, arrives on their doorstep claiming to be Henry’s illegitimate daughter and wanting a job at this law firm, their lives go into a tailspin.

To make matters worse, unbeknownst to the other, Henry and Margaret are secretly seeing the same psychiatrist, noted Indian shrink, Rahmish J Punjab, to assist with their marital disharmony. To say his methods are unusual would be an understatement.

What will the doc advise each of them to do about the other?

What will the DNA test show?

Is Margaret really spiking Henry’s drinks with Viagra?

All will be revealed amid a background of intrigue, laughter and karaoke!
